Our Taster Mornings are structured 3-hour sessions designed to give you a hands-on introduction to pottery in a relaxed, small-group setting. With a maximum of six people, the session combines elements of handbuilding, wheel throwing, and surface decoration so you can experience a range of techniques in a single workshop.

During the session you can expect to create a vessel of your choice using techniques such as slab building, coiling, pinch pots, or throwing, before decorating your piece using a variety of surface techniques. These will then be fired and ready for collection 3 weeks after your session.

It’s a great way to explore pottery, learn the basics, and enjoy a creative morning—no experience needed.
